About Jesse
Jesse Jonesberg, MSW, LCSW, CPS
I’m a neurodivergent therapist who works with neurodivergent adults.

I bring both professional training and lived understanding into the therapy room. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity and respect, especially for people who have spent much of their lives being told they are “too much” or “not enough.”
Finding a therapist who understands ADHD and neurodivergence can be tough (I speak from experience). I work from an affirming perspective to support your growth and recovery.
- You don’t need to mask in therapy.
- You don’t need to perform for your therapist.
- You deserve support that is accepting and inclusive.
Training and approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Wisconsin and Missouri, with advanced training in neuroaffirming and trauma-informed care. I’m also an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider, a Certified Brainspotting Therapist, a Certified Mindful Self-Compassion Therapist and a Certified Peer Specialist, and a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers.
My clinical work integrates a variety of evidence-based and experiential approaches, including humanistic therapy, ADHD coaching and skill practice, parts-based work, mindfulness, compassion-focused therapies, somatic approaches and nervous-system-informed therapies. I approach therapy collaboratively, with an emphasis on compassion, autonomy and working with individuals who show up differently in life.
Beyond the therapy room
I’ve worked in community mental health for more than 20 years. I also train helping professionals in Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care and neuroaffirming care through Intrinsic Change, and I supervise social workers on their way to clinical licensure.
